We believe worship is vitally important to church life as God calls us to worship Him "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23-24). We also believe that worship not only includes music but prayer, testimonies, reading of Scripture, and, indeed, all of our lives.

However, we do understand how important music is as a part of worship and of our lives.  Here at FBCW, we encourage people to develop their musical talents and use them to honor God.  Opportunities to do so right now include...

Praise Team - leads worship with guitar, bass and keyboard on the first Sunday of the month.  Directed by guitarist Tom Walsh and made up of 7-8 adults (vocalists & instrumentalists).

Youth Praise Band - teen group leads worship with a full band every two months, under the direction of Jeff Greiner (bass player on the adult praise team).  The youth praise band also leads worship times on Wed. nights every two months with the teens and children.

Choir - for sr. high teens and adults, the choir is beginning again under the direction of our own Mary Joseph.  With her experienced help, we'll be preparing for the Christmas season as well as sharing in music this Fall.

Special Music - we also encourage adults, teens, and children to share their talents with the church family by performing vocal and/or instrumental pieces in our services to the honor and glory of God.
