THE BIBLE
We believe that the very words of the BIBLE in the original manuscripts throughout its various parts were inspired by God, its truth within being both infallible and final. (2 Tim 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
THE TRINITY - FATHER, SON, & HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the TRINITY, one God eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three persons are equal in every divine perfection. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:18-19; 2nd Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:1-3; Revelation 1:4-5).
MANKIND AND SIN
We believe that MAN was originally created in the image and after the likeness of God and that he fell through sin thereby losing his spiritual life, becoming “dead in trespasses and sins”. We also believe that this spiritual death, or total depravity, has been transmitted to the entire human race, with the exception of Christ, necessitating the impartation of divine grace for any hope of heaven (Genesis 1:26; 2:17; Psalm 14:1-3; Jeremiah 17:9; John 3:6; Romans 3:10-19, 23;5:12; Ephesians 2:1-2; 1st John 3:8).
JESUS CHRIST
We believe in JESUS CHRIST the eternal and only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, of virgin birth, sinless in life, making atonement for the sins of the world by His death. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension and His visible, imminent, pre-millennial return according to His promise. (Zechariah 14:4-11; Matthew 24:15-25; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-2,14; Acts 1:11; 2nd Corinthians 5:20-21; Romans 3:24-25; 2nd Thessalonians 1:7-10; Hebrews 4:15; Revelation 20:6).
SALVATION
We believe that SALVATION is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ whose precious blood was shed for the remission of sin. We also believe that all true believers will be kept eternally safe, but that this truth gives the believer no license to continue in sin. (Ecclesiastes 3:14; John 1:12; Romans 6:1-2; 8:29-30; Ephesians 2:7-10; 1st Peter 1:18-19).
LIVING AS CHRISTIANS
We believe that the obligation of all BELIEVERS is to live a holy life entirely separate from this world system which is under Satan’s dominion. We also believe that all believers are obligated to bear witness to the unsaved both by life and by spoken word. (Acts 1:8; Romans 12:1-2; 2nd Corinthians 5:19-20; 2nd Corinthians 7:1; Titus 2:12; I John 2:15-17).
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the HOLY SPIRIT though omnipresent from all eternity, entered this world in a special sense on the day of Pentecost; that He regenerates, in-dwells, seals, and baptizes all believers into the Body of Christ. Because He is a person He can be grieved and quenched by sin in the believer’s life. (John 14:16-17; Acts 2:2; 1st Corinthians 6:19; 12:13; Ephesians 4:30; 1st Thessalonians 5:19).
THE CHURCH
We believe in the CHURCH universal composed of all true believers in Christ baptized by the Holy Spirit into one Body. We also believe in the local church to which is enjoined two Scriptural ordinances, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We unquestionably believe that immersion is the only Scriptural mode for water baptism. (Matthew 28:19-20; Luke 22:19-20; Acts 8:36-38; 1st Corinthians 12:23, 27; Ephesians 1:22-23).
HEAVEN AND HELL
We believe in ETERNAL GLORY for the saved and in ETERNAL PUNISHMENT for the lost, a literal heaven and hell. (Luke 16:19-31; 2 Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 1:23; 2nd Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 20:11-15).
