OUR AWANA PROGRAM...

With games, Bible stories, songs, prayer, handbooks, and special events, AWANA is a great time for kids to have fun,    

make new friends, and, most importantly, learn more about God.  Our well-trained leaders teach, care about, and mentor the clubbers each week throughout the school year.  Special events like our Fall Fun Fair, Christmas Caroling, Winter Roller Skating, AWANA Games, and our Year-End Banquet add an extra element of fun to the year.  Also, for those who finish their Scripture memory handbooks, there's awards and a special Book Finisher Trip.  For information on our other children's ministries, please check out our children's page on this web site.

PARENTS...

AWANA is now part of our new Wed. night program called POWER Night ! ! !  Parents need a mid-week refresher from their busy lives just as much as kids do.  A spiritual coffee break, you might say.  We now offer that very opportunity.  After dropping off your kids in AWANA, come on over to our new Community House (opening soon next door to the church).  There, from 6:30-7:00, parents can enjoy chatting over a cup of free Dunkin' Donuts coffee and some home-baked goodies.  Then, from 7:00-8:00, those who'd like to can join in our Praise & Prayer time.  It's a great pick me up as you hear what God is doing in the lives of ordinary people as well as have the opportunity to share any concerns you might want prayer for.  Someone will share a short talk from God's Word, the Bible, and afterwards, you can pick up your kids back at the church.  Come on out and try it. 

It might be just the spiritual coffee break you need.
