We believe that strong,
healthy families make God happy.
He created the family as the basic unit of society and has given us Bible principles for
successful family living.
Our church has families from many different
backgrounds, upbringings, and cultures. As a
“family-oriented” church,
we help each other grow strong so that we can please our heavenly
Father. With marriage and parenting classes, family gatherings,
children’s and youth ministries, and adult small groups, we strive to
help each person, married or single, with or without kids, understand their God-given roles and responsibilities
as members of their home and church families.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God,
meaning He wrote it and it’s completely true. It reveals to us Who God
is, how much He loves us, and how He wants us to live. As a
Bible-based church,
we measure everything we believe by the Bible. Our society changes but
God promises that His Word will never change. God’s Word is
wonderful and we thank Him for it. May we ever be learning more
and more about the precious book we call the Bible.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the central figure
of our faith. He is our salvation, our
hope, and our peace. He has given us new life and taken away our sins.
He promises a home in heaven and an inheritance beyond imagination.
As a Christ-centered church,
we strive to put Jesus at the center of everything we do. We sing songs
of worship to Him, we teach about Him, we tell others of Him, and we try
to serve Him with our lives. We really do ask, “What would Jesus do ?”
because we want to please Him with every decision that we make. Sure,
we fail, sometimes a lot, but that's when we can ask and receive the
forgiveness Jesus promises to always provide.
We believe that God wants us to worship Him and
that He alone is worthy of our worship. He
created us and the world in which we live. He loves us and sent His Son
to save us. As a worship-minded church,
we sing our songs to an audience of One. We give thanks to Him, we
praise Him for Who He is, and we pray to our Father Who hears our cries.
God desires worshippers who worship “in spirit and in truth” . We want
our hearts to be fully and completely His. To worship not only
with our lips but with our lives.
